Intelligent
Controls for Unmanned Vehicles
To
achieve these objectives, Bluetronix is generating genetic (GA),
evolutionary, and swarm intelligent algorithms that enable autonomous
multi-agent swarms to attain emergent behavior - the ability to
accomplish complex objectives through synergistic interactions of
simple reactionary components. They are inspired by emergent behavioral
strategies observed in insect societies; the firm has recently produced
algorithms that successfully mirror their capacity to solve complex
problems through interactions of simple agents for a variety of
applications. Bluetronix's control algorithms can be generalized
to coordinate autonomous multi-agent swarms for missions that larger
conventional systems could not perform due to their lack of flexibility.
The resultant algorithms will empower low cost autonomous agents
with the ability to effectively operate in rapidly varying environments,
alter mission directives, and to avoid communication blackouts.
