We live in a world increasingly run and accessed by computer based algorithms. In today’s world they now drive a majority share of all equity trades and automate complex hedges and derivatives. They can make love matches, adjust retail prices, program traffic lights, commercial air traffic, forecasting ticket sales, diagnoses diseases, prescribe drugs and identify potential mass killers for the no-fly lists. Today AI (artificial intelligence) is making autonomous cars drive; possibly this could prevent tens of thousands of accidents every year.
Algorithms are critical to most of the things we now call smart, like cars and smartphones, and machines. We’re at a point that computers are so smart we need a new word for them. About the only thing these “computers” have in common with what’s on your desk or in your phone are silicon chips.
These new processors are called “neuromorphic” because they mimic human nervous systems, and evolved biologically systems. As a result, these “computers” can now actually see, talk, listen, think, learn and even reason. Given certain questions and problems, particularly those relying on massive amounts of new data, we now see new major advances in fields ranging from economics and engineering to medicine and basic sciences.
Our firm Bluetronix Inc. was funded and awarded multiple times (over 3 million dollars) from the US Defense Dept. from the likes of DARPA—Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (invented the Internet), US Army CECOM, NASA and the AF Research Labs. In addition, the firm has been awarded multiple patents for IoT wireless communications, digital marketing and collective artificial intelligence. Bio-inspired computation has become increasing popular in the last two decades. Henceforth, Bioinspired algorithms have been applied in almost every area of science and engineering with a dramatic increase of number of relevant results. This is the thrust behind Bluetronix’s designs and recent product developments.
Recently, AT&T, IBM & others are predicting 40 to 50 billion connections in IoT (Internet of Things) wireless communications by 2020. IBM even says maybe closer to possibly a trillion connections with a “T” recently, forecasted revenues in these sectors are supposed to approach several new trillion dollars by 2022. This may be one of the fastest growing markets of all time in the next decade years starting right now.
We hope to follow-up on some specifics how this can be done and monetized for all involved or feel free to contact us. Thanks for your attention.
